This term's Rights Respecting School Theme
This half term we are learning about EQUITY.
Equality means that everyone has a fair chance – equity means giving everyone a fair chance but also thinking about how some people might need different things to help them to achieve this. In assembly we looked at some of the things we have in school which ensure that every opportunity is equitable. Some children need glasses, some need a wobble cushion, others might need a wheelchair to make sure that they all have the very best chance.
