Spring chicks

Over the last few weeks the school office has been very busy! The children have been visiting each day to see our incubator full of chicken eggs and use our chart to see how the chicks inside were growing. Last week our new little friends began to hatch! Within a few days we had nearly 30 baby chicks!

The children and adults have loved seeing the different types of chicks and watching them grow. We are incredibly grateful to Sue and Nigel who trust us to hatch their eggs each year. Our chicks have now gone back to the farm where they have lots more space to run around!
