We are very pleased to introduce to you the two newest members of our Therapy team.

My name is Kate Doyle and I am the new Occupational Therapist (OT) here at Meath School. Since qualifying as an OT, I have been working in the field of Children’s Occupational Therapy for nearly 10 years. I have worked in a wide range of settings including an autism advisory service, mainstream schools, SEN schools, community clinics, autism resource bases and nurseries.

I love working with children and young people and endeavour to create child led, playful intervention sessions with a focus on enabling independence in activities that are meaningful to the young people I work with. I am a certified Sensory Integration Practitioner and I use a sensory motor-based approach in practice to support sensory & emotional regulation and motor needs. I am looking forward to getting to know the children and young people at Meath School!

Hi, I am Debbie Jeune, Speech and Language Therapist. I have worked as a speech and Language Therapist for a number of years. I have worked in a variety of settings with children with a range of speech and language difficulties. My most recent job, before I came to Meath, was working in an ASD unit within a mainstream school setting. I have a degree in Psychology which is where I learnt more about language development and child development, and thus I became interested in Speech and Language Therapy. I then completed a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy .

When I am not at work I like spending time with my husband and daughter. I enjoy playing the flute, tap dancing and also going for walks in the countryside with my family.

I am very excited about working at Meath School, and further developing my skills in working with children with Developmental Language Disorder.
