Summer Fair – Thank you!
To everyone who came along to our summer fair we hope you all had a very enjoyable day in the glorious sunshine!
It was a hugely successful event thanks to a great team effort from the Friends of Meath committee, parents, friends, family, staff and supporters. Once again it felt very special to be part of the Meath community seeing all our wonderful children having fun with family and friends. It was also a fantastic opportunity to work with local businesses and charities.
Thank you to everybody who volunteered on, or managed a stall. Your time & effort is hugely appreciated and allows us to offer our children the variety of fun activities. Everyone really appreciated the wonderful music and entertainment this year thank you kindly to Sian and Matt.
Special thanks for those who kept us fed and watered at the bar, with the yummy BBQ food and delicious pizza’s of which profits have kindly been donated once again.
Thank you to James Neave for being our sponsors! Both James Neave and Caroline MacPake (Virgin Media 02) provided us with fantastic Grand Raffle prizes.
We have been busy behind the scenes getting prizes to our winners. Congratulations if you were the highest bidder in the auction, emails have now gone out with details of how to make payment.
The summer fair is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we know everyone is keen to know the grand total which we promise to confirm as soon as we have all the money, including match funding and expenses, accounted for. Thank you letters for all donators will also be going out in due course.
A big thank you to all staff who supported in the lead up and kindly gave up their sunny Sunday once again to be with our children creating amazing memories.
Finally to say, as this is the last event of the year, we are really going to miss our out going FOM committee. Thank you so much Geoff, Floor and Nermen for all your hard work and valuable guidance.
